The Vice President of IP Licensing is responsible for successfully promoting and licensing Vidatronic’s existing analog, power management, LED driver, and wireless charger IP solutions implemented in advanced-node CMOS technologies down to 5nm.
Vidatronic’s advanced analog IP solutions are designed to extend battery life, reduce overall system cost, and improve reliability and performance for today’s advanced FinFET processes. The Vice President of IP Licensing must be a self-driven, creative, solutions-driven, and well-rounded businessperson to help drive Vidatronic’s growth.

Initial responsibilities will involve:
Achieve IP licensing and royalty revenue targets for existing IP portfolio
Develop executive-level customer relationships and work with internal resources to secure IP licensing and royalty deals
Study and understand Vidatronic’s existing IP portfolio to properly promote it to potential customers
Provide feedback to Vidatronic engineering team regarding market conditions and future IP portfolio enhancements
Create and track IP license leads
Creativity to present various business model solutions to close on licensing deals
Expand customer base and eco-system for Vidatronic’s innovative IP solutions
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
BSEE, BA, MBA or similar Degree qualified within Engineering, Marketing or equivalent
10+ years of proven track record of sales, business development or account management within the semiconductor, consumer electronics or networking industries, as well as experience selling IP solutions
Strong entrepreneurial skills
Experienced in the complete sales process and can interact with Engineering, Procurement and Financial staff at all levels of a company
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to communicate to a broad range of technical and non-technical people
Experience working within the IP licensing legal framework is highly desirable
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of the analog power management IP market is a plus
